Herbs for Anxiety &
Nervous System Steadiness

Nourishing, grounding plants for real bodies living real lives

Your nervous system isn't broken. It's exhausted.

This class teaches you the plants that actually help anxious bodies settle — not with powdered dust in a capsule, but with real infusions made from whole herbs, prepared in ways that let your body actually absorb what it needs.

If your stomach tightens before your brain even knows why — if your chest feels braced before you've walked out the door — your nervous system isn't being dramatic. It's carrying decades of pattern, and it needs support.

Most of us learned early to track everyone else's needs instead of our own. To attune outward for safety. That habit — what I call Emotional Outsourcing — changes your physiology. It reshapes your gut signaling, wears down your mineral reserves, and keeps your threat-detection system running long past when the threat has gone.

Herbs don't erase that story. They offer your body the chemistry to settle enough that you can actually hear yourself again. That's what this class is for.

🌱

We go herb by herb through six plants with deep histories of supporting anxious nervous systems: lemon balm, chamomile, nettles, skullcap, milky oat tops, and linden. You'll learn the actual physiology — GABA pathways, vagal signaling, the enteric nervous system, mineral depletion, neuroinflammation — not vague wellness claims.

And you'll learn how to make strong infusions that actually work. Not three-minute tea bags. Real medicine-strength preparation your body can use.

Real people.
Real nervous systems.

I've tried herbs before and felt nothing. Béa's class was the first time someone explained why — and once I understood the infusion process, everything changed. I've been drinking lemon balm every evening for three weeks and my stomach is quieter than it's been in years.

Meaghan Harrington New York, NY

I kept waiting for it to feel like wellness theater. It never did. Béa teaches this like the clinician she is — here's the compound, here's the receptor, here's what it does in your body. I've recommended this class to four people already.

Simone Ud Bogotá, Colombia

I've been in Béa's world for a while but this class hit different. I didn't expect to cry during the linden section. Something about finally having a plant that speaks directly to the chest-tightness, the grief-anxiety thing I carry. I've gotten three herbs since watching.

Carla Jenkins Nashville, Tennessee

I came in knowing nothing about herbs and left with a completely different relationship to my own nervous system. The science made it real for me — this wasn't woo, it was physiology. I made my first nettle infusion the next morning.

Mike Klein London, UK

Six herbs.
Real physiology. Real relief.

Each one chosen for a specific pattern anxious bodies carry. Each one taught with the chemistry, the somatic effects, the contraindications, and the lived body experience.

🍋

Lemon Balm

Melissa officinalis

For the buzzy, overcaffeinated nervous system. Quiets gut-brain alarm signaling, eases rumination, and gives the looping mind actual space between thoughts.

🌼

Chamomile

Matricaria recutita

Not just sleepy tea. Binds gently to benzodiazepine receptors, soothes the anxious gut, and eases the kind of anxiety that expresses as irritability.

🌿

Nettles

Urtica dioica

Deep mineral nourishment for the depleted system. Restores what chronic stress burns through. Supports iron levels, blood sugar steadiness, and histamine balance.

🌾

Skullcap

Scutellaria lateriflora

For the brain that won't stop. Reduces neuroinflammation, calms twitchy muscles, and helps the wired-tired body finally find the off-ramp.

🌱

Milky Oat Tops

Avena sativa

Slow, rebuilding medicine for fried nerves. Nourishes the myelin sheath, supports the HPA axis, and restores the inner padding that years of stress wear away.

🌸

Linden

Tilia spp.

For the anxiety that lives in your chest. Quiets racing hearts, softens chest tightness, and supports emotional digestion for the hearts that have been bracing for too long.

You're tired of fighting your body.
You want to work with it.

  • Your anxiety lives in your stomach, chest, or thoughts — or all three at once
  • You've tried breathing exercises and they do nothing when you're in it
  • You're exhausted from carrying everyone else's emotional weight
  • You want to understand your nervous system, not just manage it
  • You're curious about herbs but don't know where to start, or who to trust
  • The "wired and tired" pattern is your default and you need something gentler than another productivity hack
  • You've been running on fumes long enough that even small stressors feel like too much
  • You want support that's grounded in science, not just good vibes

90 minutes of embodied,
science-informed herbal education.

  • 01

Six herbs matched to your nervous system patterns

Understand which plant speaks to your specific presentation — anxious gut, racing mind, burnout, heart-centered anxiety, or sensory overload — so you're not guessing.

  • 02

    The actual phytochemistry, taught plainly

GABA modulation, vagal signaling, enteric nervous system function, neuroinflammation, mineral depletion — real science, no jargon spirals.

  • 03

How to make strong infusions that actually work

Step-by-step instructions for medicine-strength herbal infusions — including the steeping times, ratios, and storage practices that make the difference between tea and real herbal medicine.

  • 04

My favorite blends for common patterns

Anxious gut, racing mind at night, burnout + depletion, grief-shaped anxiety, heart-centered stress — simple two-herb combinations that work beautifully together.

  • 05

    Safety, contraindications, and self-trust

What to know before you start, how to introduce herbs slowly, and how to read your own body's responses — so you have everything you need to use these plants with care.

  • 06

    Printable handouts and infusion guides

Yours to keep: a full herb reference guide, infusion instructions, blend suggestions, and sourcing recommendations you can use immediately and return to anytime.

I don't teach herbs as escape hatches. I teach them as partners in regulation.

Everything I teach is grounded in the body — not as an abstract idea, but as the animal body you are living in right now. Your muscles. Your gut. Your hormones. Your vagus nerve.

We also name the conditions. A world that asks you to override your needs, to caretake everyone else's feelings, and then pathologizes you for being anxious and tired. When we bring herbs into that picture, we're bringing plant chemistry into a system shaped by real pressure — and giving it genuine support.

I've been working with herbs and nervous system science for over two decades — as a clinician, a coach, and a person who grew up in a body shaped by chronic stress and learned, slowly, what it feels like to actually settle.

Everything I teach weaves together plant chemistry, polyvagal theory, somatic practice, and a clear-eyed feminist analysis of why so many of us end up depleted, anxious, and running on fumes.

This class is the thing I wish I'd had when I first started understanding that my nervous system wasn't a problem to solve — it was a system asking to be nourished.

What people ask before enrolling

Do I need to know anything about herbs first?

Not at all. This class starts from the beginning. You'll get the physiology, the preparation methods, and the safety information you need to work with these plants confidently — whether you've never brewed an infusion or you already have a cabinet full of dried herbs.

I'm on medication. Is this safe for me?

Each herb is taught with its full contraindication profile. For most people on most medications, the herbs in this class are very safe — but you'll have everything you need to make an informed decision and have a conversation with your care team if needed.

Is this a live class or can I watch at my own pace?

You get lifetime access to the full recorded class, so you can watch whenever it works for you, pause, rewatch the herb sections that speak most to your patterns, and return to it whenever you want a refresher.

What if I've tried herbs before and didn't notice anything?

This class covers exactly why that happens. Capsules and three-minute tea bags skip the water-extraction step your body needs. Medicine-strength infusions are a completely different experience — and you'll know how to make them correctly by the time we're done.

Will I actually use this, or will it sit in my downloads folder?

The whole class is designed around immediate, practical application. The herbs are easy to source and affordable. The infusion process is simple. Most people buy their first herb within a day or two of watching.

Your nervous system deserves support that actually nourishes it.

Not another thing to push through. Not a quick fix. Real plant chemistry, real physiology, real relief — at your own pace, on your own schedule.
