You already understand your patterns.
Understanding was never the problem.

Why you are here

You have done the work.
You are still stuck.

You can name your patterns, trace them back, explain the whole architecture of how they formed. You know why you people-please. You know why you over-function. You know why your nervous system goes offline when someone is disappointed in you.

And you still say yes when everything in you means no. You still lie awake replaying the conversation. You still cancel plans with yourself the moment someone else needs something. You make progress and then slip right back, and the slipping back is starting to feel like proof of something.

The gap between knowing and changing is not a willpower problem. It is a nervous system problem. And a nervous system problem requires nervous system work.

This training is the map nobody gave you. In one hour, you will understand why everything you have tried has worked up to a point -- and exactly what has been missing. You will leave knowing not just what your pattern is, but where it lives in your body and what actually changes it.

Emotional Outsourcing -- the habitual pattern of sourcing safety, worth, and belonging from other people rather than from within, encompassing codependent, perfectionist, and people-pleasing habits -- is persistent precisely because it does not live in the thinking mind. An hour that finally explains the part of this that nobody has explained before.

What this training gives you

Leave this training different
from how you arrived.

Four things you will walk away with that no amount of reading, journaling, or therapy has managed to give you yet.

01

The actual reason you cannot stop -- even when you can see yourself doing it.

Codependent, perfectionist, and people-pleasing habits do not live in your thinking mind. They live in your nervous system -- in responses that fire before you have made any conscious decision. This training explains that mechanism in a way that finally makes the pattern make sense.

02

The three needs at the root of every exhausting pattern you run.

Safety, worth, and belonging. Emotional Outsourcing -- sourcing all three from other people rather than from within -- is the pattern underneath people-pleasing, perfectionism, and codependent habits alike. You will understand exactly how your nervous system learned to do this and why insight alone cannot undo it.

03

Why the somatic approach changes what nothing else has touched.

Talk therapy works at the level of the story. Somatic work works at the level of the response -- your physiology, your body, the part that fires before you have decided anything. That is why decades of insight can leave the pattern completely intact, and why working somatically changes what nothing else has reached.

04

Which pattern is most alive for you right now -- and exactly where to start.

By the end of this training you will know precisely where your nervous system is running the oldest program. People-pleasing and over-functioning. Body symptoms and freeze responses. Losing yourself in relationship. Each one has a different entry point and a different path through. You will leave knowing yours.

This training is for you if

One of these is going
to land in your body.

Read each one. The one that makes your chest tighten a little -- that is yours.

You keep abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable -- and you watch yourself do it.

You say yes when everything in you means no. You over-explain every boundary until it collapses. You make progress and then slip right back. You are not confused about the pattern. You are exhausted by your inability to stop it.

Your body keeps ambushing you and you cannot think your way out of it.

The freeze when you need to speak up. The 4am wake-up with your heart already going. Living in survival mode so long it feels like your default. You know in your mind that you are safe -- and your body will not receive that information.

You lose yourself completely when you are close to someone -- and you feel it every time.

You don't always know what you think or feel independent of whoever you're with. You give until you resent. You end something that was wrong for you and miss it anyway. Your nervous system equates connection with self-loss.

Béa is a UCSF-trained Nurse Practitioner, Master Certified Somatic Life Coach, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is the creator of Emotional Outsourcing -- her framework for understanding how codependent, perfectionist, and people-pleasing habits form in the nervous system and what somatic work does to actually change them.

She is the bestselling author of End Emotional Outsourcing (Hachette, 2025) and the host of the Feminist Wellness podcast. Her work bridges nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and intersectional feminism -- rooted in the belief that you do not have to earn your worth.
